Wow... Just where to begin with this one?

A true end of an era but one that will NEVER be forgotten. It's because of this man that Godzilla was brought to life, going from being a nuclear metaphor to a superhero before his retirement. At age 88, we all knew his time was coming, but it doesn't change that his passing still hits us all very hardly. It was such an honor to meet him at G-Fest XV, back in 2008.

R.I.P. Haruo Nakajima. You will be VERY greatly missed

First Eiji Tsubaraya, then Ishiro Honda, then Tomoyuki Tanaka, then Akira Ifukube, and now Haruo Nakajima! James was right, the era has died. Almost everyone (except for Akira Takarada) from the Gojira 1954 has died. We will all miss the one and only Godzilla actor we love. But he must be forgotten.
