Super behind on this, and yes, I know Godzilla's hugging a sentient blob of poop. Shut up, it's the thought that counts

While the Smog Monster isn't my all-time favorite film in the series (doesn't mean I don't like it...) Mr. Banno seemed like such an enthusiastic guy who wanted to do more with Godzilla. It's a pity we never got "Godzilla 3D to the Max," but at least we have him to thank for Legendary Godzilla existing. Even my father got to know him (briefly) when he met him at G-Fest XII, back in 2005.

R.I.P. Yoshimitsu Banno. You will be greatly missed
