A - Punching Combo
- Strikes with a 3-punch combo.

Side A
- Takes the tip of his Spear and slices it forward (half of his Mortal Kombat II Fatality, toned down)

Up A
- Takes his Sword and slices it above him

Down A
- Thrusts his foot forward and upward, while squatting

Dash A - Hellish Slide
- Gets down and slides forward, striking with his feet

Ledge Attack
- Slices with his Sword while pulling himself back up

Get-up Attack
- Does a breakdance-like kick attack while getting back up

Side Smash - Backflip Kick
- Scorpion performs his Backflip Kick Special attack (from Deadly Alliance and Deception) as a Smash Attack.

Up Smash - Uppercut
- Scorpion nails his opponent with an MK-stylized Uppercut, sending them upwards.

Down Smash - Hellfire
- Scorpion thrusts his hands upward, causing two pillars of Fire to blast up from both sides of himself.

- Swings a punch in the air

Air Front A
- Kicks forward

Air Back A
- Spins around and jumpkicks behind himself

Air Up A
- Flip-kicks upward

Air Down A
- Smashes downward by thrusting his feet down as a Meteor Smash.

Standard Special - Toasty!
- Like Bowser's Fire Breath, Scorpion temporarily unmasks to breath a stream of flame. The flame weakens over time.

Side Special - Spear
- Scorpion thrusts out his palm and shoots his Spear, which will pull the opponent right to him. If connecting successfully, when the opponent is drawn towards Scorpion, they will be temporarily stunned, allowing for Scorpion to land a free hit on them. As an Easter Egg. Scorpion will shout "GET OVER HERE!"

Up Special - Demon Fire
- Scorpion thrusts his hands down and unleashes a Blast of fire that propels him into the air. Deals no damage, purely a recovery move.

Down Special - Teleport Punch
- Similar to Shulk's Counter, Scorpion looks like he's prepared to attack someone, but is actually setting up for a counter. If someone strikes him during his pose, he teleports in the opposite direction of the opponent and attacks them upon reappearing.

Final Smash - Inferno Scorpion
- Scorpion raises his hands in the air and a gigantic burst of fire will appear in front of him, sending anyone who is caught in it to the Netherrealm, while leaving anyone else who isn't stuck in a frozen state. Scorpion then takes on his Inferno Scorpion form (from Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks) where he will strike the effected opponents with a barrage of flaming Spears. After a number of attacks by his Spears, Inferno Scorpion will deal a finishing blow by blasting everyone with his "Toasty!" Fatality. Everyone will return to the stage, while those caught in the attack will receive heavy knockback. As an Easter Egg, Dan Forben will appear from the side of the screen and say his signature "TOASTY!" anytime Scorpion KOs an opponent with his Final Smash.

Grab
- Scorpion uses his Spear to grabs opponents from afar.

Pummel
- Knees Opponent

Front Throw
- Using his Spear, he twirls his opponent around and hurls them far away

Back Throw
- Briefly lets go of his opponent, only to use his Teleport Punch to knock his opponent backwards

Up Throw
- Summons his Hellfire and launches his opponent upwards

Down Throw
- Holds opponent down and summons Hellfire from the ground up to burn opponent

Entrance
- Leaps up from a Portal from the Netherrealm and prepares for Battle

Up Taunt
- Performs a Kata while stating: "Vengeance will be mine!"
Side Taunt
- Thrusts his arm back as a goading gesture while shouting: "COME HERE!"

- Performs a Kata while stating: "The Netherrealm calls you!"

- Throws his Spear towards the Camera, and pulls it towards him while he shouts "GET OVER HERE!!"
- Performs a Kata, while stating "Vengeance is Mine!"
- Performs a Kata, while stating "My Fire consumes all!"

Character Cinematic
On the Battlefield Stage, Pit is seen taking out two or more players in Smash. Pit is full of confidence in his abilities when he is transported to a hellacious battlefield. (The Underground portion of "Castle Siege" in disguise). Pit looks around concerned at where he is. During the entire scene, there is dialogue:

Pit: WOO-HOO! I'm on a roll today!
Palutena: Be careful Pit. I sense an ominous presence nearby!
Pit: Huh?
*Pit gets teleported to the Underground*
Pit: WHOA!! WHERE AM I?!
Palutena: Pit! You're in the Netherrealm! This place is far worse than all the other combined, you have to get out!
Pit: Lady Palutena! What's wrong? What's going on!
Palutena: PIT, GET OUT OF THERE!!

Suddenly, a spear appears and latches onto Pit, when the scene cuts to black just as Pit is struck by it. The man who threw the Spear is none other than Scorpion, who shouts his signature "GET OVER HERE!!" and a subtitle then appears next to him that reads:

Scorpion burns with Vengeance!

A montage of Scorpion's abilities are seen for the rest of the cinematic while the infamous Mortal Kombat theme song (as an instrumental) is heard playing over the montage. There is also dialogue that goes over Scorpion's presence in Smash. It is Palutena's Guidance on Scorpion's abilities, which is heard over the montage. (See Palutena's Guidance below)

After the game's title screen disappears, Pit is looking groggy from being beaten up by Scorpion (His broken shield animation is used to demonstrate) while Scorpion is right next to the groggy Pit. Then in signature Mortal Kombat style, an announcer shouts "FINISH HIM!" Scorpion is about to use his "Toasty!" Special on Pit. However, just as Pit is about to be burnt by Scorpion fire, the scene cuts to black once more and Pit's Death Scream (from when he is Up-KO'd) is heard as Scorpion Fire is heard crackling. the announcer then says "Scorpion Wins, FATALITY!"

Palutena's Guidance

Pit: Man. I'm getting some bad vibes from this guy already!
Raiden: I see you've already met our Kombatant of choice.
Pit: Whoa! Who the heck are you, and who am I up against?
Raiden: I am the God of Thunder, Raiden, and the man you face is the Specter of the Netherrealm, Scoprion.
Pit: Scorpion?! You mean the "Toasty!" and "Get Over Here!" Scorpion?! But this is a kids game! We are rated E you kno--
Raiden: This is no game boy. Scorpion has heard much of you and has come to challenge both you and your Smash Brothers!
Pit: Alright alright! He's not going to rip my wings off is he?
Raiden: Scorpion has agreed not to perform any Fatalities, but he is still a formidable foe nonetheless! His ability to control fire is unlike any of the others kombatants, as he draws them directly from the depths of Netherrealm.
Pit: Yeah w-well I can protect myself from them with my guardian orbitars!
Raiden: His Teleportation allows him control over the battlefield.
Pit: Well my Power of Flight will have to see about that! Anything a Spectre can do, an Angel can do better!
Raiden: Are you so sure of yourself boy?
Pit: I know I am! I fought demons before you know!
Raiden: Very well then. Now face him, in MORTAL KOMBAT!!
Viridi: (In unison with Palutena) Show off!
Palutena: (In unison with Viridi) Show off...
